The 21-year-old appeared for 29 seconds in stoppage time as Los Blancos chalked up a 3-1 victory at Leganes at Butarque, with Marca stating the Spain Under-21 international is furious.
It had been over a month since the former Real Betis midfielder last appeared for the Spanish champions, which also came at Leganes in the Copa del Rey.
The report states sources close to the player make clear his unhappiness at his situation and a growing friction between him and Coach Zinedine Zidane.
Ceballos has been linked with a loan return to former club Betis.
