Roma have reignited their interest in Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez with a view to a summer move, according to reports.
The 26-year-old has made 153 appearances at the Bernabeu, where he has spent his entire career, including 29 outings this campaign.
Corriere dello Sport states Roma have restarted their interest in the versatile defender, who is most comfortable at the heart of the defence but can also play on the right side.
Nacho’s current deal at the Spanish and European champions runs until June 2020, but Roma’s sporting director Monchi is said to be extremely keen on his signature.
The Spain international was heavily linked with a move to the Italian club last summer.
