Kluivert’s ‘heart set on Barca’

Ajax forward Justin Kluivert has his ‘heart set on joining Barcelona’ but admits Real Madrid or a move to the Premier League would appeal to him.

The 18-year-old is the son of Patrick, who spent six seasons at the Camp Nou between 1998 and 2004, and he would like to follow in his footsteps.

“I do not know where I will next play, but my heart is set on joining Barca,” Kluivert is cited by Diario AS as telling Dutch outlet Helden.

“I am also open to a move to England, the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United are all great clubs and yes, I could see myself playing there.

“Real Madrid? I could not turn down interest if they were interested.

“Mourinho’s comments after the Europa League final? He said he could not believe how much I had grown, praised my playing ability and asked after my father.

“My dad does not make decisions for me, he knows I would not like that but he is always there for advice.”
