Real Madrid have been handed a double boost with the return of central defender Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane to first-team training.
Captain Ramos has been unavailable for Los Blancos since 5 January while Varane suffered a scare with a knee injury in last weekend’s 4-1 victory at Valencia.
There was further good news for the Spanish and European champions with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale also closing in on full fitness after minor muscular injuries.
Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo are the only two confirmed absentees for Madrid’s weekend trip to Levante as they aim to make it three La Liga victories in succession.
