Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes has emerged as a priority transfer target for Real Madrid next season, say reports.
Diario AS cites a report in Argentina-based Clarin which states the 23-year-old has attracted intense interest from the Spanish and European champions.
The creative midfielder has netted five goals in 27 appearances for the Russian giants since joining from Roma last year.
The report continues Madrid would be willing to offer €35m plus utility midfielder Matteo Kovacic for the Argentine – who has been capped twice at international level.
Paredes has also previously played for Boca Juniors, Chievo Verona and Empoli.
