Ramos & Isco miss Valencia

Real Madrid will be without Sergio Ramos and Isco for Saturday’s key encounter with Valencia in La Liga.

Madrid’s official website confirmed Ramos had “a strain in his left calf”, while Isco picked up “an impingement in his left hip”.

However, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo all return after missing Los Blancos’ shock exit to Leganes in the Copa del Rey midweek.

Third-placed Valencia lead Madrid in the table by five points, and they have Carlos Soler back after a month-and-a-half without the midfielder,

However, defenders Ruben Vezo and Gabriel Paulista are suspended, while Jeison Murillo is still injured.

The two sides drew 2-2 in their last meeting back in August, although Madrid have not won at Mestalla in the League for five years.
