Arda Turan's agent has confirmed that the Barcelona midfielder is “more than 99 percent” likely to join Istanbul Basaksehir.
Arda is surplus to requirements at Barca, having not made a single appearance for the side this season, while Basaksehir lead the Turkish top flight by a point and would welcome their countryman’s arrival.
“Everything is happening in a positive way,” Ahmet Bulut told A Spor.
“The final decision will be made on Friday. We've already given a positive response to Basaksehir and Arda Turan agrees.
“There's only one or two small details needed for an agreement to be reached. Now all that's missing is Barcelona's response.
“The chances of a deal being closed are more than 99 percent.”
Sport adds the Blaugrana are desperate to offload the 30-year-old and are prepared to sell him for just €10m – €31m less than what they paid Atletico Madrid.
