Juventus and Valencia are considering a swap deal which would see Stefano Sturaro move to the Mestalla and Jose Luis Gaya move the other way.
A report in Turin-based Tuttosport claim that whilst the Italian midfielder wishes to stay at the Italian champions, limited first-team opportunities may see him move on.
The 24-year-old has started only two Serie A matches for the Old Lady this season and is ‘especially liked’ by Valencia, who are keen on January reinforcements.
Spanish left-back Gaya – a regular fixture in Los Che’s defence – has attracted interest from Juve who are said to be prepared to sanction a bid this month.
The report indicates the emergence of promising full-back Toni Lato at the Mestalla may mean a deal for Gaya is not impossible.
