Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes – on loan from Paris Saint-Germain – may stay on at the club beyond the current campaign, his father has hinted.
The Portuguese international has been in fine form since moving to the Mestalla on a season-long loan deal from the Parisians in summer, with his performances helping propel the side into the top three.
“Every players want to play for the best clubs and in the best competitions, and right now Goncalo has that,” Rodrigo Guedes told Radio Television of Portugal (RTP), as cited by Plaza Deportiva.
“All that Valencia need to do is to reach the Champions League but they are on course for that, but he is in a great club in a fantastic city and his performances have been good.
“Right now, I believe it would be much more difficult for him to play for Paris Saint-Germain but he is evolving a lot and this will continue for the next year or two.”
