Egypt Coach: Salah good for Madrid

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah would be a good signing for Real Madrid, according to Egypt’s national team manager Hector Cuper.

Salah joined the English Premier League club from Roma over summer in a €40m deal and he has shown fine form since, netting 21 times and providing six assists in just 27 matches to date.

“He is at the level to play for Real Madrid, definitely,” Cuper told Marca TV.

“He has a lot of quality and it is now increasingly clear the level to which he is capable of playing and combining several different aspects of his game.

“He is very quick, is technically strong and he is also stronger now in front of goal – all those qualities would be beneficial for Madrid.”

Cuper has previously managed four clubs in Spain – including Real Betis and Valencia – across a ten-year period, and has been in charge of Egypt since 2015, guiding them to their first World Cup in 28 years.
