Guedes demands Valencia consistency

Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes has called on his side to recover their consistency after suffering three defeats in four outings.

After winning eight consecutive La Liga matches –a club record – Los Che have collected just four points from their last five league matches.

“We have to maintain our high level to finish up near the top of the table,” Guedes told an interview with UEFA.com.

“Moving to Valencia has been very good for my development as a player and I have improved both individually and as part of the team.

“They (Dani Parejo and Geoffrey Kondogbia) talk a lot and understand each other on the pitch very well, they form a great midfield partnership.

“Kondogbia doesn't have as much experience as Dani, who gives him advice and explains things.

“The chance of playing at the World Cup? It's very important for me, it's always good to be able to play at a World Cup; it's a goal for me to get to Russia and I'd be really proud to be called for the World Cup.”
