PSG want Oblak in January

Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to land Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak in January and are prepared to pay €100m, say reports in Spain.

The Parisians reportedly want to bolster their goalkeeping department and view the Slovenian as the ideal upgrade, following attempts in summer to sign the Atleti shot-stopper.

A report in Diario AS states the Ligue 1 leaders are lining up another bid in January with the goalkeeper’s release clause of €100m viewed as plausible by the French club.

PSG are open to the idea of adding playmaker Javier Pastore or goalkeeper Kevin Trapp to the offer, although the report states Atleti would only consider accepting an offer for Oblak should they land Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Miguel Angel Moya is currently Oblak’s deputy at Los Rojiblancos.
