Juan Mata has reportedly been offered to Inter in an effort to bring Joao Mario to Manchester United.
Marca cites the Corriere dello Sport as claiming the Spain international would be used as a makeweight in a move for Mario, with the authorisation of Jose Mourinho.
However, Inter are not particularly interested in Mata, but could be open to a deal that includes Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in Mario and could offer Javier Pastore to the Serie A club.
Inter are said to be keen to avoid taking a loss on the Portugal international and, therefore, open to an exchange, while a loan deal with the possibility of a permanent move has also been mooted.
