Out-of-favour Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan wants to leave the club ‘right now’, he has told a Turkish media outlet.
The 30-year-old has not made has not featured in any games for Barca this season and the club are reportedly keen to sanction his exit as soon as possible.
“I want to leave now, Barca is the biggest club in the world and that is not going to change, but I am aware that the time has come to make the decision,” Arda told Fanatik.
Since moving to the Camp Nou in 2015 in a €34m deal, the midfielder has struggled to nail down a first-team place, but has scored 19 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions.
He has been strongly linked with a return to Galatasaray, where he previously spent five years, winning a league, cup and Super Cup during his stint, before joining Atletico Madrid in 2011.
