Sevilla winger Franco Vazquez would ‘never say never’ to a return to Serie A but confirmed he is happy with his current club.
The 28-year-old spent five years in Italy with Palermo, before joining Los Rojiblancos last summer, and holds dual Italian-Argentine citizenship.
“I would never say never to returning to Serie A,” Vazquez is quoted as saying by Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.
“I’m happy here right now at Sevilla, this is a great club and we are in the Champions League.
“Steven N’Zonzi? He is a strong midfielder and very good on the ball too, but he has never asked me about Serie A and he has always wanted to say with Sevilla.
“Barcelona? Since Neymar left, they now play a more balanced 4-4-2 and are more compact in defence, I think their football style is now a bit more Italian.”
Vazquez has made 46 appearances for the Andalucian club.
