Sergio Ramos is hopeful Neymar will someday join him at Real Madrid and he has ‘opened the door’ on such a transfer.
Reports in El Mundo Deportivo this week suggested representatives of the former Barcelona star were regularly in touch with Madrid president Florentino Perez about a possible future deal.
“I want to have the best players and Neymar is one of them,” Ramos told El Larguero.
“He might have believed it was easier to join PSG first rather join Madrid directly from Barcelona, I hope this is the case and in football you can never know.
“He would bring a lot of quality to our team, I would open the door if he wants to join in winter.”
The 25-year-old has netted 11 times in 12 appearances for the Parisians since his summer switch.
