Poch optimstic on Kane return

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is hopeful star striker Harry Kane will return for his side’s clash with Real Madrid this week.

The England international missed out for Spurs defeats to West Ham and Manchester United this week due to a minor strain in his left hamstring.

“With the doctors and the player, we will take the best decision for everyone,” Pochettino said when questioned by reporters if the striker could return for the midweek clash.

“We must analyse and take the best decision for everyone.

“We will assess him and then we will make the best decision. My feeling is good. But it's not my feeling, it's Harry Kane's feeling.”

Kane has hit 13 goals in all competitions for Spurs this season, including five in the Champions League to date.
