Manchester United are still interested in signing Valencia’s in-form midfielder Carlos Soler, according to reports.
The highly-rated 20-year-old signed a new deal with Los Che in May until June 2021 with a reported buyout clause of €80m.
However, Marca has cited reports in The Daily Mail of renewed interest from Old Trafford, who have ‘intensely’ scouted the central midfielder.
The reports suggest a bid of €35m (£30m) is possible from the English giants, which would fall well short of an clause in the Spaniard’s contract.
Soler only made his professional debut in December 2016 but has since made 35 appearances – including starting all nine matches this season – and scoring four times, in a string of impressive displays.
