Real Madrid Castilla boss Santiago Solari (pictured left) is coming under increasing pressure following Sunday’s 2-0 loss at Pontevedra, say reports in Spain.
It was Castilla’s fourth loss in eight league outings this season to leave them 14th in Segunda B’s 20-team Group I standings – eleven points off league leaders RC Deportivo Fabril and just two points off the relegation zone.
This marks the side’s worst start to a league campaign since 2009/10 and Marca claims Juvenil Coach Guti (pictured centre) – a former Madrid teammate of Solari – could be promoted to replace the Argentine.
Zinedine Zidane had been the previous incumbent at the team before replacing Rafael Benitez in the first team hotseat in January 2016.
