Juventus Coach Max Allegri has insisted ‘Barcelona arestill the best club around’ and are joint-favourites for this season’s Champions League title.
The Blaugrana have won their opening three league games this season after a summer of concern when Neymar left for Paris Saint-Germain and a number of transfer targets were missed.
“In my opinion, Barcelona are still the best club around at the moment,” Allegri told a press conference.
“Iniesta represents the essence of football, Dembele is a really interesting young player and when you have talent like Messi, Suarez and Dembele, it's hard for your opponents to mark you.
“Barca have also started the season well and they, along with Real Madrid, are favourites to win the Champions League.”
The Italian champions knocked the Catalans out of last season’s Champions League quarter finals and clash at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
