Barca eye Juve transfer gurus

Barcelona are said to be lining up a move to bring Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici to the club following the summer transfer window.

The Catalan giants saw Neymar’s €222m release clause triggered by Paris Saint-Germain while they failed to land a string of targets including Angel Di Maria, Philippe Coutinho, Hector Bellerin, Inigo Martinez and Jean Michael Seri.

Tuttosport now claims the Blaugrana are eyeing Paratici – highly-rated in European football circles and pictured, left – as the man to take over transfer business at the Camp Nou.

He and the Old Lady’s General Manager Beppe Marotta have been praised for taking the club from consecutive seventh-place finishes to six Scudetti titles in a row.

The Turin-based paper believes Marotta could also move to Camp Nou, noting that the pair have been inseparable since their time at Sampdoria.
