Malaga have announced that defender Bakary Kone has joined French side Strasbourg on a season-long loan.
A statement on Malaga’s official website adds Strasbourg have an option to buy Kone next summer.
The 29-year-old only arrived at La Rosaleda last summer but made just seven appearances in La Liga due to a long-standing Achilles injury.
Prior to that, the Burkina Faso international played for the likes of Olympique Lyonnais and Guingamp.
