Corinthians have ruled out a deal for full-back Guilherme Arana (pictured right), who had been on the radar of Sevilla this summer.
The Brazilian club’s sporting director Flavio Adauto has confirmed the club would not be selling any of their players, including the 20-year-old.
“We have received proposals, but we will not sell any of our players this year,” Adauto is quoted as saying by El Desmarque.
“If other clubs press us it will make a deal even more unlikely as this is our stance – we will not sell to anyone. They're going to waste their time.”
The Brazilian Under-20 international has made a total of 70 appearances for Corinthians and is considered one of the country’s top emerging talents.
