Valencia’s attempts to sign Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira on a season-long loan deal have been blocked by Jose Mourinho, say reports.
Marca and media in Valencia both report on the Spanish club’s insistence in their attempts to land the Brazilian – who spent last season on loan at Granada – but are being met with a flat refusal by the Red Devils.
The 21-year-old is said to want first-team football this season and whilst he is far from a regular at Old Trafford, the Portuguese boss has promised him a prominent squad role this season due to the club’s heavy schedule.
Valencia have completed the signings of Jeison Murillo, Gabriel Paulista and Geoffrey Kondogbia in recent days and are also tipped to complete the loan signing of Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes.
