The player ‘swap’ between Valencia and Inter for full-back Joao Cancelo and midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia is edging closer, say reports.
A deal is expected to be completed by the end of the week with Superdeporte reporting both players have agreed all terms with the finer details between the clubs now emerging.
Kondogbia, 24, is set to move to the Mestalla on loan for a season with a purchase option of €28m for Los Che, the French midfielder’s current salary is said to be c €3.8m per year.
Sportitalia say Portuguese right-back Cancelo will move to the Italian club on a €2m per year on an initial loan with an option to buy of €32m included.
The claims state that both moves will be officially completed ahead of the weekend.
