Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi could yet be on the move this summer with Roma still hopeful of completing a deal, say reports.

Calciomercato.it suggest the 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Valencia, is top of the Italian giants shopping list after a move for Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez failed to materialise.

Roma’s new sporting director Monchi is familiar with the striker who scored in Spain Super Cup last season for the Blaugrana against Sevilla, and is reportedly an admirer.

“Roma would be a welcome destination, they’re a top club but I can’t say anything else because the deal’s being discussed by the two clubs,” the striker’s agent Francesc Valdivieso told Romanews last week.

Munir netted seven times in 35 league appearances for Los Che, having previously spent three years on the fringes of the Catalan club’s first-team.
