Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo has agreed to join Inter on a season-long loan deal which will trigger further arrivals at the Mestalla, say reports in Spain.
Superdeporte claim the Portuguese defender has agreed to join the Milanese giants after being guaranteed first-team football, which was not secured at Los Che due to Martin Montoya.
The move is set to be an initial loan deal with an option to buy, with Nerazzurri midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia poised to move the opposite way in a similarly structured deal.
Jeison Murillo’s move from the Serie A club to Valencia is also completed but Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti is said to have stalled any deal until the club sign a replacement.
Tottenham, Chelsea and Juventus were among the other clubs linked to 23-year-old Cancelo, who has three goals in four caps for Portugal.
