Malaga Coach Michel has refused to discuss potential new signings ahead of the new season following a disappointing pre-season.
The Costa Del Sol side have lost seven of their eight friendlies and despite already making nine new signings this summer, this has led to speculation they could look to bolster their squad further.
“Right now all I’m thinking about is the players we have to work with,” Michel is quoted as saying by Marca.
“Pre-season has not been easy and has had bad moments as well as good in terms of transfers; it is not my role to speak about that.
“We will see what happens with any moves but I can't say anything about that as it isn't my job. What this team needs is trust and continuity.
“Players must believe in what we are doing and trust our project and from there they can show their talents.
“I’ve some very good feelings about this side, despite the pre-season results we have done many things well and there is a lot to be positive about.
“We have played well many times but lost, but it is better for that to happen now rather than in the league.”
