Steven N’Zonzi wants to leave Sevilla with an agency representing him claiming they ‘hope he will be let go soon’, according to reports in Spain.
The former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder has a €40m release clause at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan and Los Rojiblancos have reportedly knocked back approaches from Juventus.
“Steven wants to leave and that is the truth,” Estadio Deportivo quote an agency representing the player.
“The president and the Coach know that this is the truth and we hope they will let him go soon.”
Sporting director Oscar Arias admitted earlier this summer he ‘couldn’t do anything’ to stop the 28-year-old from leaving should his release clause be triggered.
