Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno could be on the move to Watford this month to play more first-team football, say reports.
According to the International Business Times, Watford have approached the Merseyside club about the 25-year-old’s availability and want him to provide competition to Jose Holebas.
Liverpool’s signing of Hull left-back Andy Robertson earlier this month threw the former Sevilla defender’s future into further doubt and a move away now looks likely.
“Yes. It is clear [that until 31 August everything can happen]. Robertson has arrived, we are now three left-backs,” Moreno told Cadena Ser.
“Milner is currently injured and there are many turnarounds in the football. I have to fight and see what happen in the new season.
"Many things have being said but right now I am fighting for my position in the left-back. It's true that last season I did not play as much as I wanted but football is like that.
“One day you are up, another day you are down. This year we start from scratch again. I have to work from the first minute and let's see what happens during the transfer window.”
