Garay main priority for Juventus

Juventus are growing increasingly confident of signing Valencia central defender Ezequiel Garay as a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci, say reports.

Marca cites a report in Tuttosport which claims the Argentine is the main transfer target for the Italian champions while they are also hopeful on a deal for right-back Joao Cancelo.

Last month reports in both Italy and Spain claimed the two clubs were meeting over Garay, who is valued at €12-15m despite signing only a year ago for €20m from Zenit Saint Petersburg.

New Valencia Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral values the former Benfica and Real Madrid defender highly, seeing him as part of his plans.

In addition, the Spanish giants are already seeking to offload defenders Ruben Vezo and Aymen Abdennour this summer, which is likely to push up their valuation of the Argentine.
