Real Madrid have rejected an approach from Roma for winger Lucas Vazquez and have insisted he is not for sale, according to reports.
Earlier this week, reports in Diario AS and Gianluca Di Marzio suggested the Giallorossi had turned their attention to the Spain international after being unsuccessful in their pursuit of Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez.
However, Madrid have made it clear that the former Espanyol player is a key part of their squad and is not for sale, according to the Roman edition of Leggo.
The 26-year-old made 50 appearances for Los Blancos but started only 12 times in La Liga and twice in the Champions League.
