Inter are weighing up a bid for Las Palmas central defender Mauricio Lemos with the Canary Islanders open to offers for the player, say reports.
Marca cites a report in Gazzetta Dello Sport which claims Nerazzurri Coach Luciano Spalletti highly values the Uruguayan defender’s ability and has clarified this to the club’s board.
Las Palmas reportedly want Lemos to continue at the club and see him as an important team member but unlike with Jonathan Viera, they are said to be open to negotiating a sale.
The 21-year-old reportedly opted to sign for Los Amarillos last year, rejecting the advances of Sevilla and Barcelona in order to play more first-team football.
Las Palmas were reportedly seeking the full €30m release clause for the former Rubin Kazan central defender, who has also been linked to Everton and Roma this summer, but it now appears a deal could be struck for closer to €20m.
