Juve arrange Garay meeting

Representatives of Valencia central defender Ezequiel Garay will hold a meeting with Italian champions Juventus this week to discuss a move, say reports.

Plaza Deportiva cites a report in Tuttosport which claims the Bianconeri have identified the Argentine as the replacement for Leonardo Bonucci, who has joined Milan.

The report states Juve will offer an initial €12-15m for the former Real Madrid defender although Los Che will not settle for less than the €20m they paid to Zenit St. Petersburg last summer.

New Valencia Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral values the former Benfica and Real Madrid defender highly, seeing him as part of his plans.

In addition, the Spanish giants are already seeking to offload defenders Ruben Vezo and Aymen Abdennour this summer, which is likely to push up their valuation of the Argentine.
