Barcelona have promised Neymar they will sign his compatriots Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho in a bid to keep him at the club, say reports in Spain.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, the Catalans have reached a stage of desperation to retain the 25-year-old who had reportedly told them he had agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain.
A message from Gerard Pique on social media in a picture of him alongside the Brazilian was captioned ‘he stays’, although numerous media outlets are adamant no decision has yet been made.
The Blaugrana had previously been linked with an €80m move for Liverpool’s Coutinho and a deal with Guangzhou Evergrande’s Paulinho, valued at €40m.
Neymar had reportedly been swayed to the Parisians due to the presence of so many of his international teammates, including Dani Alves, Marquinhos and Thiago Silva.
