Inter midfielder Geoffrey Kongodbia ‘wants’ to join Valencia and believes he can form a part of the France World Cup squad for next summer, say reports.
According to Plaza Deportiva, the French midfielder has indicated to the Spanish giants his desire to join them on a loan deal this summer which would include an option to buy next year.
The Nerazzurri signed Kondogbia from Monaco in 2015 in a €35m deal and they are keen to recoup this fee with a ‘compulsory’ purchase option included in any deal.
Los Che would prefer to include an optional €20m in any deal due to the Frenchman’s indifferent form during his stint in Milan.
The 24-year-old would have to be willing to take a wage cut should any move to the Mestalla go through.
