Real Betis have rejected an €8m offer from Bundesliga club Hamburg for highly-rated defender German Pezzella, say reports in Spain.
According to ABC de Sevilla, Los Verdiblancos see the Argentine defender as ‘a cornerstone’ to their team next season and would only consider offers upwards of €12m.
The 26-year-old has featured 66 times for the Seville-based club since joining from River Plate two seasons ago as he has become a leading member of the club’s defence under several managers.
