Turkish champions Besiktas will attempt to sign Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo at the request of their Coach, say reports.
Marca pick up on various media outlets in Turkey reporting Besiktas Coach Senol Gunes has requested the club prioritise the signing of the Spanish striker this summer.
Negredo, who will celebrated his 32nd birthday next month, spent last season on loan at English club Middlesbrough where he netted 10 goals in 39 appearances.
Los Che are reportedly keen to offload the striker who is one of the highest earners at the club, following the sales of Diego Alves, Mathew Ryan and Enzo Perez, among others.
