AC Milan are ‘on the verge’ of completing the signing of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in a deal to be worth in the region of €70m, say reports.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are set to continue their summer spending which has already seen Leonardo Bonucci, Lucas Biglia, Franck Kessie, Hakan Calhanoglu and Mateo Mussachio among a host of players moving to the San Siro.
A bid of €70m has reportedly been sent to Madrid while the Italian giants are offering to pay the 24-year-old up to €10m per season.
This concurs with reports in Marca which state the Spain international, who scored 15 goals in 14 La Liga starts last season, is ‘insisting’ to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
Cadena Ser is the latest media outlet to confirm the striker’s intentions of moving clubs having seen Madrid fail to reach an agreement with Manchester Untied for his transfer.
