Arda Turan will not be leaving Barcelona this summer despite transfer speculation linking him with a move away, his agent has confirmed.
Despite netting 13 goals and assisting in a further seven last season, the Turkish midfielder failed to establish himself in the first-team at the Camp Nou under Luis Enrique.
There has been fresh speculation that new Coach Ernesto Valverde is willing to sanction his sale and does not see him as a major part of his plans, but that idea has been rejected.
"Arda will stay at Barcelona,” agent Ahmet Bulut told NTV.
“He has three years on his contract, and he will be part of the pre-season training that starts on July 12. There's nothing new."
Last month, the 30-year-old midfielder retired from international duty after being involved in an altercation with a journalist.
