Real Madrid must sell James Rodriguez and Alvaro Morata before any potential deal for Real Betis star Dani Ceballos, say reports in Spain.
According to Marca, any move for the 20-year-old playmaker is dependent on him being guaranteed a first-team place at the Bernabeu and become a main star at the club.
The report states both James and Morata – who have been extensively linked with moves away from the club this summer – would be moved on in order to facilitate Ceballos in the squad.
A deal for the Spanish Under 21 international is ‘very close’ despite El Mundo Deportivo and Diario Sport reporting the starlet would prefer move to the Camp Nou.
A decision on the player’s future is expected soon, while Morata’s potential move to Manchester United is rumoured to be close with James linked to both Milan and Inter, along with links to Old Trafford.
