Neto ‘only wants’ Valencia move

Juventus goalkeeper Norberto Neto has told the Italian champions to sanction his move to Valencia after agreeing personal terms with Los Che, say reports.

According to Marca, the 27-year-old has told the Bianconeri of his desire to move to the Mestalla although Juve are said to be holding out for a €10m fee.

Neto was Fiorentina’s first choice goalkeeper for two seasons before moving to the J-stadium in 2015, where he has been limited to 11 Serie A appearances across two years as understudy to Gianluigi Buffon.

He is understood to have attracted the interest of Milan and Napoli alongside an unnamed Premier League club, but he only wants to join Marcelino Garcia Toral’s side, state Marca.

Meanwhile, Valencia are confident of finding a buyer for Diego Alves due to his wages, to follow the exit of goalkeeper Mathew Ryan to Brighton.
