Granada add two more to squad

Granada have continued their rebuilding job ahead of next season with the signings of Leganes defender Victor Diaz and Tenerife midfielder German Sanchez.

29-year-old full back Diaz featured in 23 La Liga outings for Leganes last season and played an integral role in the club’s first ever promotion to the top flight the previous season.

Argentine Sanchez, 30, has been a regular in Tenerife’s side for the past two seasons and has agreed a two-year deal with El Nazari.

These two latest signings take the number of permanent arrivals at Los Carmenes to seven following deals for goalkeeper Javi Varas (Las Palmas), defenders Quini (Rayo Vallecano) and Alex Martinez (Betis), midfielder Antonio Puertas (Almeria) and striker Joselu (Lugo).

Only six players from last season’s El Grana squad are still at the club.
