Villarreal have rejected a €25m offer from West Ham United for striker Cedric Bakambu, according to reports.
The Telegraph report the Yellow Submarine reject the offer from the Hammers ‘off hand’ and consider the Congolese striker as not for sale.
Bakambu has featured 60 times in La Liga since joining Villarreal from Turkish side Bursaspor in 2015, scoring 34 goals across all competitions.
The former Sochaux man struggled with injury problems last season but still helped Fran Escriba’s side to a fifth-place finish to ensure qualification for the Europa League.
The report also noted the London club made an identical offer for Cologne forward Anthony Modeste.
