Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez could be leaving the club this summer with Italian giants Roma ‘serious’ about his signing this summer, say reports.
Marca follow up on reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport that the Rome-based clubs are weighing up a move for the 27-year-old, who was also on their radar last summer.
The versatile defender is reported to be available for around €15m and the guarantee of first-team football in a club in the Champions League and aiming for titles could be persuasive.
Nacho found the net three times in 39 appearances for Los Blancos last season and Roma see him as a replacement for Antonio Rudiger, who is reportedly joining Chelsea.
Roma sporting director Monchi is also said to be close to concluding a deal for Estudiantes defender Juan Marcos Foyth.
