Italian giants Lazio are considering testing Malaga’s resolve for midfielder Ignacio Camacho, who has an €18m release clause at La Rosaleda.
Reports in Corriere dello Sport suggest the Rome-based club have been analysing the 27-year-old’s performance for Los Boquerones.
The report points out that the two clubs will meet in a summer friendly and this could be the ideal opportunity for the two clubs to discuss any potential deal.
Camacho has featured 177 times in La Liga for the Andalucian club since joining from Atletico Madrid for €1.5m in 2010, becoming an integral part of the club’s midfield.
West Bromwich Albion were reportedly close to signing the Zaragoza-native last year but negotiations broke down over the transfer fee after personal terms had been agreed.
