Midfielder Ever Banega has confirmed via his official website that he has completed his return to Sevilla from Inter after one year.
Various media reports in both Spain and Italy have confirmed a deal had been completed and the transfer had gone through for a fee of €9m, although neither club had officially announced the move.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined the Italian giants on a free transfer last summer but after making just 20 starts in Serie A last season he has now returned to the Andalucians.
The Argentine international is expected to pen a three-year contract after undergoing a medical and will look to add to his eight goals and five assists he provided in his previous 59 La Liga appearances for the club.
Formerly of Valencia, Banega bagged six goals and six assists in his sole season at the San Siro.
