Real Madrid are in the driving seat for Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and could complete a deal this summer, say reports in Spain.
According to Diario AS, Los Blancos are prepared to offer an annual wage of €6m for the 18-year-old prodigy and are given further hope by the shot-stopper’s deal at San Siro expiring next summer.
Friday’s front pages of Marca and AS both focus on the Italian’s future, with Marca stating Madrid ‘already view him in white’ and could either sign him this summer or on a free transfer in 2018.
The Rossoneri are keen to tie Donnarumma down to a long-term deal but agent Mino Raiola is apparently a stumbling block in negotiations.
Zinedine Zidane’s side appear to have given up hope of signing either Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea or Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois with Keylor Navas set to remain first choice if the Italian does not arrive.
