James to leave after CL Final?

AS is reporting that James Rodriguez will leave Real Madrid after the Champions League Final, ahead of a two-way battle between Inter and Manchester United.

Although James may not feature at all in Cardiff, the newspaper suggests James’ decision is final due to his “lack of participation” since Carlo Ancelotti’s departure in 2015.

Documenting his career trajectory at the Santiago Bernabeu, AS claims “technical and systematic reasons” are to blame for the midfielder falling out of favour.

As for his next club, the publication explains the Colombian “has been an obsession for Inter since last summer”, and the Nerazzurri have revived their interest with a €42m bid.

Reports also suggest the 25-year-old has reached an agreement in principle to join United, but AS assures his fate will be decided “in the coming weeks”.
