Eibar are close to signing highly-rated midfielder Ivan Alejo from La Liga 123 outfit Alcorcon, according to reports in Spain.
According to Marca, the 22-year-old’s move to the Basque club is ‘very close’ and they expect the deal to be announced within the next week.
A product of Atletico Madrid’s youth system, Alejo spent a year at Villarreal B before signing a two-year contract with Madrid-based Alcorcon last summer.
Known for his ability to control the tempo of a match and possessing a high turn of pace, Alejo is set to become Eibar’s second signing of the summer following a permanent deal for goalkeeper Yoel Rodriguez.
